The Cumberland Gap Genealogy and History Group is please to announce The 6th Annual Genealogy Jamboree in Cumberland Gap, TN.

This is a FREE 3 Day Event June 9-11, 2016, with National Known speakers.

Mark J Lowe, Lori Thornton , Peggy Clemons Lauritzen, plus other locally known speakers All lectures are free to the public both Genealogy & History.

Visit our vendors of Genealogy and History in the streets of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee along with surname tents, Genealogy and Historical societies. Meet Authors and talk Genealogy.

Cumberland Gap is the venue for this event , the Gap was a vital location for the westwards movement in the late 1700's as the eastern and New England states pioneers jump on the Wilderness starting in Augusta County, Va. Pioneers from Pennsylvania, New York, Etc following the Trail. With a estimated 50 million Americans that has ties to the area. Just about every state and county has ancestors that pass through the Gap

Take and walk into the past with our Traditional crafters showing how our ancestors made items to use in basic life tasks, visit the Native Americans with their wares.

The 6th Annual Genealogy Jamboree has something for everyone in the family play checkers with Abraham Lincoln or General Robert E Lee to hands on, musket firing and more.
